Push your edges.

The Space is a portable practice in Houston. Small gatherings — new moon circles, tantra practice, sacred intimacy — where you sit with people you may not know yet and understand the human condition a little better. Ten to fifteen people. A few evenings a month.

Practices

new moon

New moon circles

A gentle reset on the new moon. Slow down, drop into the body, release old cycles, and set intention for the month ahead.

tantra

Tantra practice

Potluck-and-practice evenings with the Houston tantra community: guided connection, movement, and meditation. Sober, sliding scale, every level welcome.

sacred intimacy

Sacred intimacy

Guided, consent-based evenings of somatic practice: presence, boundaries, and the quiet work of giving and receiving. Everything is invitational.

The practice so far

Circles, sound baths, tantra evenings, sacred intimacy gatherings. Held small on purpose, held regularly. The room changes; the practice doesn't.

On gathering with Manny

No one else is as quick to say hello to a stranger, ask a genuinely interesting and thoughtful question, or bring a group together.
— Adam H. — Brother-in-law and fellow traveler
During the pandemic, Manny opened up his backyard as a safe gathering space for neighbors. Around a bonfire, we could safely connect, share food, and offer each other support in uncertain times.
— Kimberly M. — East End community partner
We bonded over spirituality, healthy lifestyles, and healing modalities — sound therapy, dance, meditation. When Manny believes in something, he is all in: serving the community, personal development, and true connection.
— Tessa S. — Holistic practitioner and friend
He regularly hosted gatherings that brought together people of all generations — friends, neighbors, and family alike. Warm, inclusive events that reflected the same community spirit I've known in him since we were teenagers.
— Sara A. — Friend of twenty years
In both Atlanta and DC he created community organizations and held potluck dinners and events to engage with his neighbors. Generous by nature, outgoing and kind in the way he meets people.
— Kathryn L. — Community-building partner
He invites me over for dinner get-togethers in his home, where he shows himself to be a gracious, thoughtful host and a very good cook.
— Joe B. — Neighbor and friend
Not to be missed. Always satisfying.
— Jack — Guest at The Space
